I have recently been thinking of relationships.

Why are they important or Why do we simply need them ?

 

Until I realized that they are important because look… Everyone in their life goes through a phase when they feel stuck, exhausted and ready to give up but somehow we still keep going not because we suddenly got stronger but because of the people who quietly stand beside us. The silent expectation of your parents, the faith of our loved ones, the encouraging words of our friends and the support they offer without wanting anything in return become the reason we take one more step forward.

There are people in the world who wanted to be successful not because they worked harder, but because they didn't want to let down the one who believed in them. 

That's not the only reason why relationships are important but that’s one of the many.

There will come a time in our life when we don’t live for ourselves but for our loved ones and our relationships. The relationships that made our life worth living.

 

People will come and go, there’s no avoiding that, even you were part of someone’s life for a while and now aren't anymore. That’s natural.

But throughout life we have more than enough time to build the relationships we wish for us. Please please don’t just wish to have certain people around you, wishing won’t bring them.

Maybe things aren’t as complicated as they seem. Perhaps you had that feeling too before. I noticed that if I stop thinking of things as a really complicated puzzle I manage to make more progress.
