The mind matters

Just send a text to lifeisworthlivingv1@gmail.com Not all wounds are visible. Some live quietly in the mind I am in my room with windows I sometimes forget to open. My thoughts come and go like clouds across a restless sky, I never asked for. But my mind. My questions matter. My worries matter. My dreams matter. I am still too afraid to say aloud. I do not have to understand every thought that crosses my mind. I do not have to be perfect for my mind I can pause. I can breathe. I can pause again. My thoughts feel louder than my voice, but I am learning, My mind is mine. I can change my mindset. And even on the days when I forget my own strength, My Mind Matters Dania Asteria Note from H. Tayrone: We're body and mind. Those two parts should work together when the other is weak. Really great poem! See you tomorrow with som...

Story development

Today's post is brought by: Anonymous Come back tomorrow to see what's new! Wish to write tomorrow's post? Just send a text to lifeisworthlivingv1@gmail.com Everyone changes  Growth in your bones  Understanding life takes time  To blossom in flowers  Your flower is your development Having to learn a lesson  To change who you are  Wanting something so bad  But knowing that it will take time  To find that love one  God knows your story  So try to live up every moment  You know everyone loves you You need to love yourself  Let yourself change  Become someone who is better  Than the previous one  Understand life is one step closer  So don’t like anything stop  From becoming a flower of your former self  Bloom into something else  Entirely. Note from H. Tayrone: I don't write poems but that looks like something I myself would write! See you tomorrow with something new! Cool infos from the sid...

Pieces from the past

Today's post is brought by: mayi – Medium Go check more of their work and come back tomorrow to see what's new! Wish to write tomorrow's post? Just send a text to lifeisworthlivingv1@gmail.com We haven’t spoken since that last time, which is honestly impressive considering how committed the universe has been to arranging near-misses. We grew up together, knew the same people, lived in the same circles, and even after ending up hundreds of miles apart, there’s always someone who knows you, knows me, or knows someone who knows both of us. At this point, I’m starting to suspect we’re just poorly written recurring characters. I have my own life now and so do you. There are new people, new routines, new problems, and presumably better things to think about. There is absolutely no practical reason for either of us to be thinking about the other. Which is why, every once in a while, I consider deleting that playlist. You know the one. The playlist I made entirely of songs you int...

Don't overcomplicate

Today's post is brought by: H. Tayrone Come back tomorrow to see what's new! Wish to write tomorrow's post? Just send a text to lifeisworthlivingv1@gmail.com I had a realization these days and it genuinely made my work and many other aspects of my life easier. Maybe things aren’t as complicated as they seem. Perhaps you had that feeling too before. I noticed that if I stop thinking of things as a really complicated puzzle I manage to make more progress. Seriously, for so long I asked myself what people do that I’m not doing.  Why do some things just come to people so easily when it is so "complicated" to get the thing? These “things” tend to be building projects, behaving certain ways, or just achieving something. And I believe for the longest time I over complicated all that. Everything had to be thought out for it to work to the point I felt like there was something wrong with me because I was trying so hard to make it work and other people didn’t seem to try an...

Why the nicest people seem to always have it the hardest?

Just send a text to lifeisworthlivingv1@gmail.com Once upon a time, a woman felt like she was being left behind, and that woman was me. Growing up, I was always the insecure one, what I’ve come to think of as younger sister syndrome, and I got used to living in my brother’s shadow, fighting quietly for attention that rarely came my way. It got worse because he was the one who demanded it, his personality took up so much space, and he didn’t have many friends, so my parents attention naturally gathered around him while I, the so-called normal one, learned early how to behave and how to stay out of the way. At school I went looking for the attention I wasn’t getting at home, wanting more than anything to be seen and to feel like I belonged somewhere, and out of that need I developed a very specific personality trait, the insti...

I figured it out late

Made by: H. Tayrone Wish to also have a post on the blog? Just send it to lifeisworthlivingv1@gmail.com Today I had one of the most important meetings of my career. It was important because of what I’ve learned from it, because it changed my way of seeing all this business world and the way I see myself in it. But this isn’t a blog talking about business, and I’m only telling you this because of this feeling I have now. This feeling is me wishing I could travel back in time to apply what I now know without “wasting” all this time it took for me to get here. It’s annoying to think all that time won’t come back. It’s like I’m starting late. I used to think this sort of thing wouldn’t bother me as much, I would think “At least I found the solution”, but it’s one painful experience to feel like you could have done it months ago.  But it can be worse. It can be worse if you already know what needs to be done but decide not to just because you’re not willing to. I promise you, if you pos...

I need to take a break sometimes

Just send it to lifeisworthlivingv1@gmail.com After the graduation assessment, I spent more time in reflection, writing stories on wattpad, watching Korean dramas (but during watching I’m not only watching as an audience but also as a writer or sutradara) cause I need that for references to my story. I do just about anything, even little things, like reading new articles on Google Chrome home page, reading stories or articles in Substack, scrolling through tiktok every now and then, and looking for other ideas. Then I started to write whatever I want to get rid of my overthinking on Medium. I workout, clean my room and create footage content videos for my instagram. I try these things to feel alive. I should go see a psychologist, but before that, I need to do anything to make me aware of my surroundings. By doing that, I feel responsible for it. Sometimes, I feel like taking small things f...
